Peter Turnbull is an experienced chairman and professional non-executive director of publically listed, unlisted public and private companies – and is the chair or a member of various audit,remuneration, governance and risk management board committees.
Peter has degrees in law and commerce and over 30 years successful senior executive and corporate legal experience with some of Australia’s largest listed public companies in the resources, energy and industrial sectors including senior roles at Newcrest Mining, BTR Nylex and Energex. This experience includes key roles in the analysis and building of major resources and infrastructure projects as well as significant experience in undertaking merger, acquisition and divestment activities. Much of this experience is global and cross-cultural in nature.
In addition to significant energy, resources and project development experience Peter brings extensive experience in designing, implementing and managing corporate governance frameworks, including risk management regimes. Peter is actively involved in international governance circles and is a regular speaker and writer on governance issues.
Peter also has significant corporate regulatory and government policy experience gained through working with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission early on in his career and later as Director, Corporate Finance of the Securities & Futures Commission of Hong Kong.

Peter is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Queensland (Institute of Molecular Bio-science), a former President, Fellow and Life Member of Governance Institute of Australia and a Fellow the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Steve is an experienced company CEO and Chairman/Director with more than 35 years’ experience in utility, infrastructure and fund/asset management businesses based in Australia and New Zealand.
His Board-level experience as CEO/Director includes shareholder structures of government, council, listed (both ASX and NXZ) and private sector. Steve’s CEO and Board level experience includes accountabilities for strategic and business planning, financial and commercial management, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, capital raising, compliance and change management. His experience in executive operational leadership includes the full range of business units from technical, legal, accounting and finance, support, engineering and trade, network management and services, customer service, supplier-related and project management.
Steve holds a Bachelor of Business (double major in Business Management and HR Management), a Masters of Technology Management, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance and is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia (FGIA), Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) and the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM).
Mr Wang Ruobing is the Chairman of Jilin Jien who hold 16.74% or 40,099,678 shares in Metallica Minerals Limited.
Mr Ruobing joined Jilin Jien in 1996 as an auditor and has since held the positions of Vice President and President of the Company. Jilin Jien, Nickel Industry Co. Ltd listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Dr Shu Zhang has over 40 years’ experience in mining, first as a Miner, then a Mining Engineer, and later an Executive Manager in operations and project development in companies in Australia, China, and Canada.
Dr Zhang was one of the key members who played a critical role in the successful development of Sino Gold Mining Limited.
Dr Zhang has worked for the Jilin Nickel Group since 2011, and is a Director of Jilin’s Canadian subsidiaries, being the unlisted Canadian Royalties Inc., and the TSX listed Northern Sun Mining Corporation.
